After three years at UCLA, Dr. Fischel decided to leave school and find his true self. He rediscovered his own passion for healing that had been instilled in him a young age. Enrolled at the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, Dr. Fischel received a scholarship from the Vitaminerals Company and went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude and received the President’s Award for Leadership.
Dr. Fischel has extensive postgraduate education in orthopedics, industrial consulting and pediatrics along with a variety of techniques. He has studied with the Masters including Goodheart, Harrison and DeJarnette. He is one of few local chiropractors practicing Biophysics enabling restoration of the normal spinal curves.

Dr. Fischel is a member of the California Chiropractic Association, has sat on its’ board, has served as President of the Los Angeles County Chiropractic Society and as a board member of L.I.F.E. (Love is Feeding Everyone). Shelley the Office Manager has been married to Dr. Fischel for over 30 years. It is often her who patients come back to see because of her amazing customer service. Dr. Fischel has practiced in West Los Angeles his entire career. Located in 90064 his offices have been located on Wilshire Blvd and Olympic Blvd since 1984.
Dr. Fischel is a second generation Chiropractor. He grew up with Chiropractics and therefore has a deeper sense of the art than one just receiving a degree. Of course, over 35 years in practice helps too!
Dr. and Mrs. Fischel have a son Alex, who is a member of the band SPOON and a daughter Sydney, a member of the U.S. Navy!
Shelley is not only the office manager and the best chiropractic assistant around, she is also Dr. Fischel’s wife and has a profound understanding of chiropractic, healing and how to best help patients from behind the desk.
